BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

The Muslim Ummah must always mind the tongue and strive to say what is good and polite in their daily life. This was highlighted in the Friday Sermon, titled 'Dangers of the Tongue.' In the sermon, every word that is said will be held accountable in the Hereafter.

In this life, the ummah must maintain two relationships, namely relationship with Allah, and relationship with people. Do not let one's tongue gives advice or reminder that can cause a strain in a relationship, disagreement, resentment and enmity. Imam Al-Ghazali Rahimullah mentioned on the dangers or evil of the tongue such as saying unnecessary or sinful things; arguing; cursing; backbiting; making false promises; and lying.
