​His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam held an unscheduled visit to the Ministry of Religious Affair, 4th November morning. During the visit, His Majesty in a titah expresses his care and attention in several matters, among them the integration of religious subjects into the General Education System and distribution of zakat or tithe. On the integration of religious subjects, the Monarch stresses that there has been no aim to abolish religious schools. His Majesty emphasises that religious school is a branch of MIB and one of the country's proud-worthy self-identity.

His Majesty in the titah stresses his desire for the religious school to improve its system. ​
