​A man of permanent resident was sentenced by the Bandar Seri Begawan Magistrate's Court today on a charge under the Excise Order 2006.

Muhammad Dzulfadhli bin Abdullah @ Eddy Anak Ugeng, was  possessing 67 cartons, 40 packets and 32 sticks of cigarettes of various brands stored in the stall in the Kampung Mata-Mata without a valid permit and approval on the 16th of June 2023. The defendant was pleaded guilty and was fined $52,800 or 15 months imprisonment in default.
