​The Industry and Business Ecosystem Division through the Weights and Measures Unit, SDT and Department of Economic Planning and Statistics, JPES, Ministry of Finance and Economy recently conducted a Joint Operation on business premises in Belait District.

During the operation, thirteen units of weighing machines used for trade purposes were verified and found to be accurate and registered with the SDT Unit. Meanwhile, JPES issued two Warning Notices to two business premises for selling cooking oil and infant formula above the maximum price set under the Price Control Act, Chapter 142.
