Two companies were each fined $1,000 for committing offences under the Miscellaneous Offences Act 2021, Chapter 30 in the public place.

Syarikat Pengiran Haji Yusoff bin Pengiran Haji Ahmad Sendirian Berhad and Jinsho Sendirian Berhad are required to settle the compound fines within seven days. If in default, the companies can be brought to court and if convicted can be fined not less than $2,000 and not exceeding $10,000 and for the second and subsequent offences can be fined not less than $10,000 and not exceeding $30,000 and will be sentenced to imprisonment for a period not exceeding 12 months or both.
