Don’t be fooled by this cat’s cute exterior.

He has a secret life of crime, as a serial underwear thief.

Four-year-old Reginald stands charged with swiping more than twenty items over several months.

Boxers, socks, a bra, tights and even a baby grow, have all been snatched from washing lines by the Norwegian forest cat.

Now his owner is having to warn neighbours in Folkestone, Kent, of Reginald’s cat-burglary tendencies.

Liza Brickell said: ‘Last summer he started bringing in washing from people’s houses, but he stopped once it turned colder.

‘Now it’s that time of year again, he is at it again.’

After a day of thieving the brazen thief often displays his swag by the cat flap for his owners to see.

And sometimes Reginald will bring a stranger’s pair of boxers to his family, much to Liza’s embarrassment.

She is now urging any neighbours who suspect their pants have been swiped to contact her.

Liza said: ‘He takes soft toys out and clean washing out from the house.

‘We find it hanging off the tree in the garden and he is constantly looking for a reward because he thinks he has been good.’
