Contributions pour in for Kg Baru fire victims

A fire victim's family member present to receive the contributions.

Contributions continue to pour in for victims of the Kg Baru, Seria fire that engulfed 30 houses and left 22 families homeless on April 2.

On Saturday, Anthony Abell College (AAC) secondary students Kennedy Jelanie, Lawrence, Cassidy Ak Enggu and Hillary Ak Selamat - victims of the fire mishap - received a total of $750 from AAC's Student Caring Committee (KPP), which comprises students, teachers and ACC staff.

In addition to that, they also received generous donations in the form of clothes, stationeries and daily necessities.

Present to hand over the donation was Principal Cheong Huat Joo.
