Miri's jumbo fair to offer huge
bargains
By Rosli Abidin Yahya
The biggest information technology
(IT) fair ever to be held in Miri is scheduled to take place at the
Indoor Stadium Miri from May 7 to 9.
Organised
by the Miri branch of Computer Sales and Services Association (CSSA)
in collaboration with Miri Municipal Council (MMC), the fair promises
huge bargains and rock bottom prices on computers and its related
peripherals.
The fair - to be held in conjunction
with the Miri May Fest organised by MMC - is estimated to attract some
40 exhibitors, including the industry's big players.
Organisers
said the fair this year will focus on the affordable as well as best
bargains for computers and peripherals.
New computer gadgets will also be
introduced at the fair, where organisers promise some computers will
be sold under RM1,000 (B$450).
The latest digital cameras and laser
printers will also be exhibited, allowing visitors a chance to witness
quality production of photographs.
Purchasing items over RM100 ($45) on
a single receipt will also entitle visitors to a chance at lucky
draws, offering prizes worth up to a few thousand dollars.
