Bandar Seri Begawan - Students and parents can get the upcoming '0', 'A' and 'AS' Level Examination Results 2008 via the 'Short Messaging Service' or SMS Exam Result Service.

Those who wish to subscribe to this service are required to register either online through the Ministry of Education web portal at www.moe.edu. bn or via SMS for both DST and b.mobile subscribers by typing MOE<SPACE>REG<SPACE>CENTER CODE<SPACE>CANDIDATE CODE and sending the SMS to 8885555.

The registration made through either the Ministry of Education web portal or mobile phone is free of charge. The subscription period will start on Monday, January 26, 2009 at 6am.

A notification will be sent to the subscribers' mobile phones upon successful registration and

they are reminded to cancel the registration if they receive an incorrect registration.

Each of the SMS Exam Result received via SMS will be charged $3. The SMS Result will only be sent to and receited by the subscribers via SMS as soon as permission is granted from the Department of Examination, Ministry of Education to release the results.

The Examination Department and the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Department, Ministry of Education in the collaboration with DST Communications Sdn Bhd (DST), b.mobile Sdn Bhd (b.mobile) and Mach Telecommunication Systems Sdn Bhd (MachTel) will provide the SMS Exam Result Service.
