Enacting Language Law on Businesses is Not Good!

My first language is English, I speak Malay & English daily, frequently mix the words between. At the end of the day it's all about communication and what matter is people understand each others. If roots of language are so important we should all dig out the language spoken by Adam and start learning and preserving it? Here we are talking about business, as they are trying to enact the language law on businesses.

No matter how we see it, we have to realize that a good economy starts with strong business sector. Today they put this law for sake of culture and language preservation and businesses pay for it. Tomorrow who know what law they wii pass again. Eventually one day for Bruneian businesses, 50% of their business operating expenses is spent just to accommodate all these laws. Bruneian companies would be dead meat in face of international competition. It is understandable the country doesn't care about economy and would like to try to be the least developed nation in ASEAN. But at least give the private sectors some space to breathe, less regulations would lead to more profits which resulted in more bonus for employees. It's good for everyone.
