Car Boot Sale Raises Money For BDNAB
Bandar Seri Begawan - In a bid to raise money for the National Association of the Blind (BDNAB), National Insurance Company Berhad organised its first-ever car boot sale at its premises in Gadong yesterday.
According to one of the 23 participants who signed up for the car boot sale, Ranoadidas, the public response was very good.
"I am very happy to be part of this charitable programme," he said, adding that it was satisfying to be able contribute to the BDNAB fund by selling things. He hoped that similar fund-raising activities would be organised "at least once a month", judging from the encouraging response to yesterday's car boot sale. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
