Kuala Belait - A Joint operation last weekend by the Immigration Enforcement Section and Customs Preventive Section dubbed ‘OPS Bersepadu Bungkas 177/2009' covered areas in the Belait District and its vicinity to eradicate illegal foreigners and offences under the Excise Order 2006.

No arrests were made in this operation, but in another inspection by two agencies, a total of 64 cans of Tiger beer and 14 bottles of different brands of wine were found at a residence in Jalan Tengah, KB Town. The case is still under investigation. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
