Crown Prince Arrives In Trinidad For CHOGM
Bandar Seri Begawan - His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, arrived in Port of Spain, the capital of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, on Wednesday.
The Crown Prince is in the island republic to attend the 21st Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), which starts today and ends on Sunday.
Accompanying His Royal Highness at the event is Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Muda Abdul Qawi. The Crown Prince and Pengiran Muda Abdul Qawi were welcomed at Piarco International Airport by Trinidad and Tobago Social Development Minister Dr Amery Browne and Works and Transport Minister Roger Joseph.
The CHOGM is the supreme body of the Commonwealth that convenes every two years to review global, political and economic developments and to conduct a strategic overview of the Commonwealth's work.-- Courtesy of The Brunei Times
