Bandar Seri Begawan - This coming December 4, Radio Television Brunei will be airing live from Singapore. The MOU RTB and MediaCorp Singapore-Programme Rhapsody will feature singers and performances from both countries.

The live performances will be aired on RTB2 from 8.30pm onwards. Popular local artistes such as Maria, Zul F, Ina of P2F, Hasrina and Faiz Nawi as well as the band `4 Ace' will perform at the rhapsody. The performers left for Singapore yesterday.

According to the Head of corporate communications c RIB. ,3g Ahmad bin Pg Hj Màhmud, the programme serves to strengthen ties in broadcasting between Brunei and Singapore through entertainment.

"The performances will feature mixed performances mostly duets amongst local artistes with our Singapore counterparts.

"In addition to 'strengthening our broadcasting ties, the programme will also provide much needed exposure, interaction and platform for the local artistes."

Both countries will take turns to host the programme, which first initiated in 1986.
