UTB Organised 4-Day Orientation Programme for 300 New Students

University life has begun for over 300 new Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) students after they enrolled at the campus for a four-day orientation programme designed to provide exposure on life as a student in UTB.
Students will get the opportunity to meet with programme lecturers and gain further insights on the various academic programmes they will be pursuing.
They will also be familiarised with the support services and facilities available at the university.
During the four-day event, the students will take part in numerous activities, including attending talks on topics such as financial management and motivation as well as an anti drug campaign.
Organised by the Offices of the Registrar and Student Affairs and also the UTB Student Representative Council, the 2016/2017 intake is made up of mostly of the eighth intake of UTB's undergraduate degree programmes, taught masters and graduate research students.
UTB currently offers 20 undergraduate degree programmes as well as five taught masters, masters by research and PhD programmes in engineering, business, computing and informatics.
The university prides itself in delivering industry-relevant and hands-on academic programmes that can produce marketable graduates who meet the needs of the nation and its industries.
