Supergirl Cast Dishes On Superman's Iconic Suit & Why Dancing With The Stars Is Their Biggest Threat

Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist) will have another spandex-clad partner in crime-fighting when Supergirl heads to The CW for season two this fall: her cousin, Superman.

Tyler Hoechlin, who's playing the iconic Man of Steel, told E! News at Comic-Con that he's ready to step into the Superman suit.

"I believe there will be a suit involved in this one, it would be weird if it wasn't," he told us. "But I haven't tried it on yet. Hopefully when we get to Vancouver we'll give it a shot."

However, Hoechlin's Superman might look slightly different than the comic book hero we know and love.

"It's a nice Armani with a really, really sweet tie," joked costar Chyler Leigh. Added Hoechlin, "it's a three-piece, really classic, bow tie. It's going to be great."

Now that Supergirl is on The CW, there's already talk of a four-way crossover between all the DC superhero shows—Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow.

"It's going to be so much fun," Benoist teased.

David Harewood is already looking forward to it. "Unfortunately, myself and Chyler we weren't in the Flash episode so we're looking forward to our first crossover."

Though the prospect sounds exhausting, everyone's ready. Mehcad Brooks even has a name picked out: "Flarrows of Tomorrow, Girl!"

Catchy, right?

But Jeremy Jordan correctly pointed out one main issue involved in combining all four shows: "They don't really have any aliens in their world. How do we converge the universes? I don't know," he said.

Brooks has also thought of that. "They're a multiverse, so they're already converged."

Press play on the videos above and below to find out what else the Supergirl cast wants to see in the four-show crossover and the biggest threat they'll face in season two: Is it Project Cadmus from the comic books or something else even more menacing—like Dancing With the Stars and The Voice?

Supergirl season two premieres Monday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. on The CW.
