BEIJING

The number of court judgements on the official online database China Judgements Online hit 100 million at 6 p.m. Sunday, according to China's Supreme People's Court (SPC).

The database has been received nearly 48 billion visits.

Anyone who registers for the service using a valid mobile phone number is permitted to search the database and download judgements.

The database, launched on July 1, 2013, keeps records of all judgements required by SPC regulation to be made public. The database has covered courts at all levels since June 2015.

Court judgements in five ethnic languages, including Mongolian, Tibetan, Uygur, Korean and Kazak, were added to the database in December 2015.
