Iron ore futures opened higher Monday in daytime trading on the Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE).

The most active iron ore contract for January 2021 delivery gained 14.5 yuan (about 2.12 U.S. dollars) to open at 843.0 yuan per tonne.
