Brazilian giants Palmeiras scored a goal in each half, keeping their unbeaten record intact with a 2-1 victory at Bolivar in the Copa Libertadores Group B on Wednesday.
Willian opened the scoring from the penalty spot for the visitors and Gabriel Menino also found the target on the hour mark. Marcos Riquelme pulled a goal back for the hosts, who failed to capitalize on having three more shots on goal and over 200 more completed passes than their rivals.
The result at more than 3,600m above sea level in Bolivian capital La Paz meant Palmeiras now have three wins from as many matches to hold a six-point lead over Guarani, who are second in the group.
In the southern Brazilian city of Porto Alegre, Gabriel Boschilia scored in second-half stoppage time to hand Internacional a 4-3 home win over Colombia's America de Cali.
Abel Hernandez and Gabriel Boschilia each scored twice for the Brazilian outfit while Duvan Vergara, Adrian Ramos and Santiago Moreno were on target for the visitors.
Internacional lead Group E, three points ahead of second-placed Gremio, who lost 2-0 at Universidad Catolica in Chilean capital Santiago.
Elsewhere, Estudiantes beat Alianza Lima 3-2 and Caracas won 3-2 at Independiente Medellin.
