The community of the Ministry of Communications (MinCom) and its departments feted Hari Raya celebrations yesterday at the ministry's Amar Pahlawan Hall.

The festive event organised by the Land Transport Department was attended by Minister of Communications, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat and his spouse.

Also present at the festive event were the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Communications, Awang Haji
Azhar bin Haji Ahmad and spouse, directors, heads of departments, officers and staff of the ministry.
The event began with a welcoming remark made by Awang Haji Joharry bin Haji Abdul Karim, Deputy Chairperson II of the ceremony.

The guests were treated to stage performances as well as a sumptuous menu with traditional Malay dishes.
The event aimed to foster closer ties within the community and family members of the ministry and its departments' staff.
