In the final week of this year's Syawal, on July 31, for the second time, the family of Awang Nasir bin Awang Tassan held a get-together at the residence of one of the family committee advisors in Kg Lupak Luas.

Around 400 members of the family turned up, among whom were the committee patron, Village Head of Lambak Kanan Haji Jumat bin Nasir, and committee advisors (family chiefs).

The get-together commenced with recitations of Surah Al-Fatihah, Tahlil and Doa Selamat led by a committee member, Imam Mohd Khairol Azmi bin Haji Salleh.

A welcoming address was then delivered by committee chairperson, Awang Haji Matnor bin Haji Mich before the visits were made together with family chief.

The family of Awang Nasir bin Awang Tassan originated from Kg Burong Pingai Ayer, and has 10 big families including from Labuan Federal Territory.
