Singapore Sees 4.9 Pct Decline In NODX In November

SINGAPORE
Singapore's non-oil domestic exports (NODX) declined by 4.9 percent year on year in November, after the 3.1 percent decrease in the previous month, Enterprise Singapore, a government agency, announced on Thursday.
On a month-on-month seasonally adjusted basis, the NODX increased by 3.8 percent in November to 13.6 billion Singapore dollars (about 10.24 billion U.S. dollars).
In a breakdown of Singapore's total NODX, the electronic NODX decreased by 3.8 percent year on year in November, following the 0.5 percent decrease in October. Meanwhile, the non-electronic NODX decreased by 5.2 percent year on year, after the revised 4 percent decrease in October.
The NODX to Singapore's top 10 markets as a whole declined in November, though exports to the United States, Japan, China's Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand and China's Hong Kong grew.
Singapore's NODX to Chinese mainland decreased by 18.4 percent year on year this November, compared to the revised previous month's 5 percent increase.
In a breakdown, the electronic NODX to Chinese mainland fell by 18.9 percent year on year in November, while the non-electronic NODX decreased by 18.3 percent.
