A foreign national has been sentenced to imprisonment and whipping for an offence under Section 14 (1) Chapter 17 of the Immigration Act.

 

44-year-old Filipino, JOSE NACARIO TOLO JUNIOR, was sentenced to 9 months imprisonment and 3 strokes of the cane for overstaying in the country after his Visit Pass had expired for 3,154 days.
