Royalty Consented to Grace Entrepreneurship Workshop

The grand-daughter of Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Pengiran Nur Aabidah Syifa binti Pengiran Anak Haji Mohammed Al-Mokhtar, was among the participants at Politeknik Brunei's Enterprising Brunei: Innovating Youth Workshop 2016.

 

Held at Politeknik Brunei's campus in Ong Sum Ping, among the objectives of the workshop were to encourage entrepreneurship, improve social and personal skills and providing a platform for constructive discussion.

 

The morning session was attended by 30 students from Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah College and Raja Isteri Girls High School (STPRI).

 

In the afternoon session, 15 students from Mabohai Primary School and 15 students from the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Primary School took part.

 

The workshop was facilitated by Awang Mohammed Arshed Butt, a leading entrepreneurship specialist from Soloman Ash, United Kingdom.

 

Students from various tertiary, secondary and primary levels were taught how to acquire entrepreneurial and enterprising skills through innovation.

 

The workshop aimed to prepare students tobe confident, pro-active, independent and self-sustaining.
