What a night this must have been.

A student has been snapped asleep, on top of a parked Renault Clio, more than a little worse for wear in Liverpool city centre.

The hilarious sight was clocked by bank worker Ben Jones, 33, early in the morning as he made his way to work.

He couldn’t resist taking of pic of the poor lad, dressed in a grey top and black jeans, and having a bit of a laugh at his expense.

‘I thought it was so funny, so I had to take a picture of him,’ Ben said.

‘He was literally outside my flat – it was probably a neighbour’s car.

‘He had obviously got really p****d the night before and couldn’t be bothered or wasn’t able to find somewhere else to sleep.’

The young man, believed to be in his early 20s, had gone when Ben popped home on his lunch break.
