"F9: The Fast Saga" Continues Leading Chinese Box Office

BEIJING

 

The latest installment in the Fast and Furious action franchise "F9: The Fast Saga" continued leading the Chinese box office chart on Monday, according to data from the China Movie Data Information Network on Tuesday.

 

The blockbuster raked in more than 8.51 million yuan (about 1.3 million U.S. dollars) on Monday, the 18th day of its screening, with a cumulative box office revenue exceeding 1.3 billion yuan.

 

Crime and comedy film "Cruella" came in the second place, ending the second day of its screening with some 6.89 million yuan.

 

Sci-fi horror film "A Quiet Place Part II" ranked third on the daily chart, generating about 6.08 million yuan on Monday.
