A motorcyclist sustained minor injury after he collided with a lorry laden with pigs near the City Fan roundabout here around 1am on Sunday.
It was understood that the lorry had mistakenly entered the opposite lane before it crashed into the moving motorcycle.
Prior to the crash, the lorry was heading towards Krokop area from Jalan Bintang and it was not known what caused the driver to move into the opposite lane.
He was unharmed in the incident and none of the pigs in his cargo escaped.
The injured motorcyclist was taken to Miri hospital.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident which occurred around 8am on Sunday, two men were spotted lying unconscious by the roadside near Sungai Baong cemetery here, prompting members of the public to call for an ambulance.
It was later discovered that the duo were drunk after a drinking session earlier with friends and had decided to take a nap.
