His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday afternoon received in audience a delegation of ministers, heads of delegation and Deputy secretary-General of Asean who are in the country for the 7th Asean Ministers responsible for Culture, and Arts (7th AMCA) and Related Meetings with Dialogue Partners from August 24-25, 2016.

Accompanying His Majesty was His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office.

His Majesty received in audience Professor Felipe Mendoza De Leon Jr, Chairman of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, Republic of Philippines; Samraing Kamsan, Secretary of State, Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, Kingdom of Cambodia; Savankhone Razmountry, Deputy Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Lao's People's Democratic Republic; Datuk Mas Ermieyati binti Samsud in, Deputy Minister of Tourism and Culture, Malaysia; Sim Ann, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth and Ministry of Finance, Republic of Singapore; Dr Chaweerat Kasetsoontorn, Vice Minister of Culture, Kingdom of Thailand; Ding Wei, Vice Minister of Culture, People's Republic of China; Hiroyuki Yoshie, State Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan; Vuong Duy Bien, Vice Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Socialist Republic of Vietnam; Bang Sungyu, President of Asia Culture Centre (ACC), Republic of Korea; Dr Hilmar Farid, Director General of Cultural Affair, Ministry of Education and Culture, Republic of Indonesia; Kyaw Oo Lwin, Director General of the Department of Archaeology, National Museum and Library, Republic of the Union of Myanmar; and Vongthep Arthakaivalyatee, Deputy Secretary-General of Asean.

Present at the audience ceremony was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.

Also present were Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Permanent Secretary (Law and Welfare) at the Prime Minister's Office and Dato Paduka Dr Haji Affendy bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

The audience ceremony took place at Istana Nurul Iman.
