50 Pints of Blood Collected at QAF Auto's Blood Donation Drive

 August 28th, 2016  |  06:37 AM  |   332 views

BERIBI, BRUNEI-MUARA

QAF Auto's first 'Share Life, Give Blood' donation drive was a great success yesterday and collected more than 50 pints of blood to top up the supply of the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital's Blood Bank Centre.

The campaign, held at the QAF Auto showroom, was part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) agenda for this year.

It was participated by the management, staff and customers of QAF Auto.

Aside from its collaboration with RIPAS Hospital, QAF Auto also partnered with Fitness Zone who supported the drive by giving the first 30 donors a one-week VIP pass, while BMW provided the first 50 donors with goodie bags.

QAF Auto plans to conduct more blood donation drives in the future as part of its annual CSR activities.

Meanwhile, RIPAS Hospital appealed for more companies and non-government organisations (NGOs) will conduct similar activities to help them meet the high demand for blood from patients in need of transfusions.

Members of the public can also donate by visiting the Blood Bank Centre during office hours.
