Tungku Primary School Emerged Winner of Brunei Zone III Netball Tournament

BERAKAS, BRUNEI-MUARA

 

Tungku Primary School emerged as the winner for the Primary School Brunei Zone III Netball Tournament last Thursday. Organised by the Co-Curriculum Education, the competition was held at the Multipurpose Hall, Hassanal Bolkiah Stadium Complex.

 

Attending as the guest of honour for the final event and also presenting trophies to the winners was Pengiran Othman bin Pengiran Karim, Head of Extra Curricular Activities at the Department of Schools.

 

Beribi Telanai Primary School came up as the first runner-up with the points 6-11. Pengiran Pekerma Setia Diraja Sahibol Bandar Primary School claimed third place after defeating Dato Ratna Haji Mohd Jaafar Primary School.

 

The top scorer award was won by Dayangku Sarah Nabilah binti Pengiran Maidin who scored a total of 39 goals and Dayangku Nur Yana Syahiera Haswizah binti Pengiran Saiful won the Overall Best Player award. Both players are from Tungku Primary School.
