President of the National Assembly Pany Yathotou yesterday received a courtesy call on from Secretary of Vietnamese Party Central Committee and Head of the Party Central Committee’s Organisation Commission, Mr Pham Minh Chinh.

The courtesy visit of Mr Pham Minh Chinh and his delegation was made on the occasion of the delegation’s working visit to the Lao PDR from August 28 to September 1.

At the talk held at the National Assembly in Vientiane, Mrs Pany expressed a warm welcome and highly valued the working visit of Mr Pham Minh Chinh and his delegation as a significant contribution to the deepening friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, States and people of Laos and Vietnam.

On the same occasion, Mr Pham Minh Chinh thanked Mrs Pany for her warm welcome and also informed her about his objectives in visiting the country.
