The COVID-19 pandemic test is not as an excuse to ignore matters related to halal status as well as its quality and health safety. Thus, the main need for various services and products of halalan thayyiban proves that the concept of halalan thayyiban can lead to various benefits that are universal and have their own special features.

 

Doctor Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, Rector of Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA explained the matter at the opening ceremony of the 5th International Seminar on Halalan Thayyiban Products and Services, SAPPHAT held virtually. Meanwhile, Pengiran Dr. Hajah Norkhairiah binti Pengiran Haji Hashim, Director of the UNISSA Halahan Thayyiban Research Center said the seminar could identify the needs and continuity of the halalan thayyiban industry in the course of human life. The event organized by Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA through the Halalan Thayyiban Research Center was participated by 200 local and overseas participants. Held in conjunction with the Brunei December Festival, the event featured four keynote speakers and 22 poster presenters.
