The services and contributions of those who are actively involved in volunteering activities for the nation's development are highly appreciated. The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports hoped that volunteers will continue to sincerely serve the country. Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin expressed his appreciation at the Day of Action's Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony held on 4th December night, in conjunction with the International Volunteer Day 2021.

The virtual ceremony included the reading of Surah Yasin, Tahlil, Doa Kesyukuran, Doa to Seek Protection from COVID-19, and 'Doa Allah Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam'. This year's Day of Action campaign featured 9 clusters including Animal Rights; Arts and Creative; Disaster Relief; and Green Initiative. To date, 114 nationwide activities have been lined up, involving over 48 agencies.
