The Munajat Night Ceremony organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs aims to invite the Ministry's staff and the public to together get closer and seek forgiveness from Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala with the hope that the citizens and Brunei Darussalam are prevented and safe from all disasters and dangerous diseases, specifically the COVID-19 outbreak.

Among those joining were Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs; Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abd. Rahman, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy for Fiscal and Awang Haji Mohammad Nazri bin Haji Mohammad Yusof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications.
