These provinces are expected to be opened to vaccinated visitors next month.
Over the past months, the government has considered the opening of the country to visitors and assigned the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism to work with relevant authorities to take into account preparations for the proper opening of the country to visitors, according to Director General of the Department of Planning and International Cooperation, Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism, Phengchan Phengmeuang.
The green travel zone is open to visitors who are vaccinated with all recommended doses of Covid-19 vaccine at least 14 days before beginning the trip with foreign visitors required to apply for green travel zone card via the internet and be tested for Covid-19 with RT-PCR method at least 72 hours prior to their departure for Laos.
