National Vaccination Programme, Mobile COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic Services

The Minister of Health also shared on the accomplishments of the National Vaccination Programme as of the 26th of December 2021.

 

The overall rate of the population who have received at least one dose of the vaccine is 94.4 percent, those who have received two doses of the vaccine is 92.9 percent, while the rate of those who have received three doses of the vaccine is 14.8 percent. In the meantime, the Ministry of Health informed that the Mobile COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic Services for house-to-house service will be conducted this week for residents who are unable to receive vaccinations at the clinic due to health problems or limited movement. The house-to-house service will be conducted in several Mukims from 9 in the morning until 2.30 in the afternoon on the following dates:

 

On the 27th of December 2021, the service will be carried out in Mukim Kota Batu and Mukim Berakas 'A', on the 28th of December 2021 in Mukim Berakas 'A', Mukim Berakas 'B', Mukim Gadong'A' and Mukim Kuala Belait, the 29th of December 2021 in Mukim Berakas 'A', Mukim Berakas 'B', Mukim Kianggeh, Mukim Kota Batu and Mukim Liang and the 30th of December 2021 in Mukim Mentiri and Mukim Gadong'A'.

 

Residents who are eligible for the house-to-house service will be contacted in advance by the Ministry of Health for early screening, and those contacted will need to share details of their identity card or passport, as well as Bru-HIMS card or number, if available. Furthermore, to provide a clearer picture of the location of the positive cases detected in the county, the Ministry of Health shared some of the results of the research that has been conducted. Between 19th until 25th of December 2021, no mukim that had more than 40 cases, of which 16 mukims or 41 percent had a total of between 1 to 40 cases and 23 mukims or 59 percent had zero cases.
