In less than a week, the 2022 academic year's first term schooling session will start for primary and secondary schools, sixth form centres, vocational schools and Institute of Brunei Technical Education, IBTE's under the Ministry of Education as well as private schools. Under the Early Endemic Phase, face to face schooling sessions will be carried out in stages. Although a number of parents are still concerned about the well-being of the students during the schooling session, but they continued to support the government's efforts to start face-to-face schooling sessions. In addition, the Ministry of Education has also provided a Whole School Modification Approach and guidelines as well as comprehensive steps for the schools to implement the reopening of the schooling session.
The teaching and learning method is divided into two stages. The first stage starts on the 3rd of January 2022 while the second stage is on the 17th of January 2022. Priority is given to students who have completed their vaccinations to attend face-to-face schooling. A large number of students expressed their excitement to go back to school.
With a daily routine of the new normal, apart from school necessities preparations, parents also give serious attention to the children's safety by helping them to understand the guidelines stipulated by the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education during the face-to face learning sessions.
Eventhough faced with challenges, the support of parents and family play a vital role in giving a boost to their children so that they will continue to be strive and succeed in their studies.
