Ayat al-Kursi is regarded as the greatest verse of Al-Quran. The verse is regarded as one of the most powerful in the Quran. It is an oft-recited due to the powerful meanings it carries in regards to Allah himself and His Attributes of the Living, the Everlasting, and the All-high, among others. This was among the highlight of a tazkirah on the greatness of Ayat Al-Kursi during the Munajat Night organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, 8th January night.

Joining the virtual event were Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Doktor Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, Minister of Home Affairs; Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduk Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office. Also held were mass reading of Surah Yaasin, Doa Munajat and Selawat Ibrahimiyyah.
