Several foreign nationals were detained for a number of offences under the Immigration Act and Regulations, Chapter 17 during 'Operasi Tumpas'. The operation conducted by the Law Enforcement of the Department of Immigration and National Registration targeted a number of rented houses in Mukim Sengkurong.

2 men and 3 women were apprehended for overstaying in the country, failing to show valid documents and harbouring immigration offenders. The offenders were brought to the Department of Immigration and National Registration's Law Enforcement Division for further action.
