GCE 'A' & 'AS' Level 2021 Examinations Results

The Department of Examinations, Ministry of Education yesterday released Brunei-Cambridge G.C.E. 'A' Level October/ November 2021 Examinations results. The Examinations adopts an alternative means of assessing student performance using School Assessed Grades, SAG.

 

1,371 candidates consisting of Upper Sixth Form Centre candidates have sat for the examination in the October/ November 2021 session. This is a decrease of 6.48% in comparison to the 2020 candidates. The achievement of candidates at the school level who obtained at least 3 'A' are 1,245 candidates or 90.81%. Meanwhile, the number of candidates receiving at least 2 'A' levels are 1,342 candidates or 97.88% and candidates who obtained 1 'A' level are 1,364 or 99.49%.

 

307 school candidates obtained 'A' STAR or 'A' grades and above in 2 to 4 subjects. A total of 17 school candidates obtained grade 'A' STAR or 'A' in 4 subjects, meanwhile a total of 132 candidates obtained 'A' STAR or 'A' in 3 subjects and 158 candidates obtained Grade 'A' STAR or 'A' in 2 subjects.

 

The 2 subjects that achieved 100% passing grades A-C are Further Mathematics and Physical Education, while 8 subjects have achieved 100% pass grades A to E including Bahasa Melayu and Design and Technology. The result slips can be collected from their respective schools during school hours. Registration for the Brunei-Cambridge 'AS' and 'A' Level examinations for the May/June 2022 session is still open. The deadline is on the 14th of February 2022.
