(KPL) Vietnam Cultural Centre together with the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos opened a five-day spring fair on Jan 27 under the theme “Spring Season in Homeland Sharing Love” to celebrate the lunar New Year of Vietnam.

The event, which will run until January 31, was attended by Ambassador of Vietnam to Laos Nguyen Ba Hung, Head of the Vietnamese Cultural Centre to the Lao PDR Nguyen Phuc Xing, and entrepreneurs from Laos and Vietnam.

In celebrating the lunar New Year (Tet) in Vietnam, the festival is held in accordance with the fine traditions of the Vietnamese people, as well as cultural exchanges, experiences and mutual learning between the two peoples of Laos and Vietnam.

The event features musical performances, acrobatics, and other traditional performance and exhibitions of various Vietnamese products from more than 30 companies.

There is also a photo exhibition showcasing the longstanding relations between Laos and Vietnam.
