The national flag hoisting ceremony was also held by various parties. The ceremony held in conjunction with the 38th National Day Celebration took place yesterday afternoon at the compound of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Kampung Bolkiah A. The national flag was handed over by Yang Berhormat Awang Naim bin Haji Kamis, Member of the Legislative Council.

The Kampung Danau Consultative Council, Tutong District yesterday afternoon also held a similar ceremony. The handing over of the flag to be hoisted was officiated by Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Ramli bin Haji Lahit, Member of the Legislative Council.

Similar ceremonies were held in several Mukims in Temburong District. Among those in attendance was Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Emran Bin Haji Sabtu, Member of the Legislative Council.
