4 COVID-19 cases are in Category 4, requiring oxygen assistance and under close monitoring with three Category 5 cases requiring the assistance of artificial ventilation and are being treated at the ICU.

The Ministry of Health in its press release stated that 2,988 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in Brunei Darussalam yesterday, taking total cases to 30,587.

Meanwhile, there are 11,731 active cases after 228 cases have recovered.

One death was recorded in the past 24 hours.

As of 17th February 2022, 49.9 percent of the total population have received 3 doses of the vaccine.
