The Ministry of Health also informed on the detection of scam calls from unknown numbers, in which the call stated that the call recipient was a close contact to a COVID-19 case and requested each call recipient to dial a number for further verification and share their personal information.

The public are advised NOT to be deceived and not to share their personal information when receiving suspicious calls. The Ministry of Health also confirmed that the calls are not from the Ministry of Health or Talian Darussalam 123.

 The Ministry of Health takes the matter seriously and has made a report to certain parties for further investigation.
