4,185 New Cases, 3,234 Cases Recovered

​8 COVID-19 cases are in Category 4 while 6 cases are in Category 5, and 4 cases have returned to the grace and mercy of Allah. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health stated the matter at a media conference on the latest COVID-19 situation yesterday afternoon at Dewan Al-Afiah, Ministry of Health.

 

4,185 new cases have been reported, bringing the total cases 93,034. Of the new cases, 3,639 were from ART test results that was uploaded to the BruHealth application, whereas 546 were from 2,536 RT-PCR laboratory tests. 3,234 cases have recovered, taking the total recovered cases to 53,346 cases with and the total active cases are 39,541 cases.

 

At present, the bed occupancy rate in isolation centres nationwide is 9.1 per cent where 337 active cases are placed in isolation centres. 39,204 positive cases are currently undergoing home self-isolation. As of the 6th March 2022, 56.7 per cent of the overall rate of population have received three doses of the vaccine, while those who received one dose and two doses is respectively more than 94 per cent.
