Malaysian Woman in Court for Illegal Entry

The Bandar Magistrate's Court yesterday heard guilty pleas from a Malaysian woman on three charges of entering Brunei Darussalam illegally, falsely representing herself to the immigration for arrival and departure clearance.
Lucilla Puyok entered Brunei without a valid pass on April 2, 2016, and falsely represented herself as a Malaysian named Veronica Serawan J Martin to the immigration officer at Kuala Lurah Control Post for departure clearance at 9.38am and for arrival clearance at 10.52am the same day.
Magistrate Dewi Norlelawati binti Haji Abdul Hamid fixed April 9 for sentencing.
