Launch Of Therapy Data Management System

 March 16th, 2022  |  09:29 AM  |   364 views

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

The Ministry of Health through the Department of Renal Services will start using the Therapy Data Management System, TDMS for the management of renal patients at Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital. The launching ceremony was held virtually at the hospital's Renal Dialysis Unit.

Launching the system was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health. The Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital will be the first dialysis facility in Brunei Darussalam to adopt the concept of combining an integrated central monitoring system using TDMS from Fresenius Medical Care with 40 Hemodialysis machines supplied through this project. With the system, each patient will be provided with their own personal card containing the medical data of each individual and connected directly with the TDMS system as well as the Bru-Hims system. The system will enable more efficient and effective patient management in which physicians and nurses will be able to access the patients' dialysis treatment directly from any branch of the department. The launch was held in conjunction with World Kidney Day 2022 with the Theme Bridge the Gap to Better Kidney Care.
