In conjunction with the International Day of Forests 2022, the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism through the Forestry Department, organised the Tree Planting Ceremony at the Andulau Forest Reserve area in Sungai Liang, Belait District, yesterday morning.

Present was Yang Berhormat Dayang Khairunnisa binti Awang Haji Ash'ari, Member of the Legislative Council. Some 213 local saplings of Ru Runang species were planted. The event was the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism's initiative towards supporting in achieving the national's target in implementing the Green Protocol guidelines and strive towards achieving the Brunei Darussalam National Climate Change Policy's target.
