The welfare of orphans and the less fortunate continues to be given care and attention. In this regard, the Takmir Committee of Kampung Sungai Besar Mosque held a presentation of donations and basic necessities during the Tahlil and Doa Arwah Ceremony.

The donations to 24 recipients were presented by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. Among the objectives of the programme is to glorify the mosque as a centre for religious activities.
