8 COVID-19 cases are in Category 4, while 2 COVID-19 cases have passed away. Both cases are categorised as deaths not due to COVID-19. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar stated the matter at the Media Conference on the Latest COVID-19 Situation held yesterday afternoon at Dewan Al-Afiah, Ministry of Health.

 

503 new cases were reported, taking total cases to 134,915. Of the new cases, 490 were from ART results uploaded to the Ministry of Health's portal, while 13 were from 1,176 RT-PCR lab tests. In the meantime, 1,020 cases have recovered, bringing total recovered cases to 130,250 with 4,455 cases remaining active. At present, 81 active cases are in hospitals, while 4,374 positive cases are on home self-isolation. Up to 31st March 2022, the accomplishments of the National Vaccination Programme for those who have received three doses is 61.6 percent of the total population.
